Mathis is pitching well this season

Monday evening was a relatively quiet night for the Rangers' organization, but Oklahoma City right-hander Doug Mathis tossed a complete game, allowing just one run. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

Neftali Feliz struggled once again, as he was beaten by O-Royals starter Luke Hochevar.

Feliz threw 88 pitches in 2.2 innings, giving up five unearned runs. He allowed three hits, walked four, and struck out three.

Right fielder Greg Golson had a strong game at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a triple, his first of the season.

Second baseman Royce Huffman was 1-for-3 with his seventh double.

Reliever Thomas Diamond gave up three runs after walking four batters in two innings.

Beau Vaughan kept his scoreless streak alive with 1.1 more shutout innings. The Arizona State alumnus hasn't allowed a run in 12.1 innings this year.

Doug Mathis (2.16 ERA/.277 BAA) pitched a seven-inning complete game in the nightcap, holding Omaha to one run on six hits. He walked one and struck out a season-high six batters.

Catcher Max Ramirez provided all the RedHawks would need with his two-RBI single in the top of the first inning.

Ben Harrison (1/3) and Julio Borbon (1/4) had Oklahoma City's only other two hits.

Kasey Kiker wasn't quite at his best on Monday, but he still held San Antonio to just two runs in five innings pitched. He threw 91 pitches while giving up six hits, walking five, and striking out two.

The RoughRiders had just five hits in the game, all of which were singles.

?Catcher Manny Pina (2/4) and left fielder Guilder Rodriguez (2/3) both singled twice. Rodriguez stole a pair of bases, giving him four on the year.

DH Chad Tracy (1/4) also had a base hit.

Big, hard-throwing righty Jose Diaz didn't allow a run in 1.2 innings. He walked two and struck out two, allowing one hit.
