The Oklahoma City RedHawks were the only Rangers full-season affiliate to earn a victory on Thursday evening, and outfielder Mitch Moreland had three hits and three runs batted in. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

AAA: Oklahoma City 10 - Albuquerque 6

The RedHawks held a 10-2 lead through three innings, and they cruised to victory the rest of the way.

Starter Guillermo Moscoso allowed four runs without recording an out in the sixth inning, hurting his overall line. Still Moscoso picked up a win thanks to the run support.

In all, the Venezuela native yielded six runs on 10 hits in five innings, walking zero and striking out four.

Esteban German’s 12th double of the season was OKC’s only extra-base hit, but the RedHawks singled the Isotopes to death.

Right fielder Mitch Moreland (3/4) and centerfielder Brandon Boggs (2/4) both drove in three runs. Moreland stole his first base of the year.

Shortstop Gregorio Petit (1/3, 2 BB) reached three times while Chris Davis (1/3) had a couple runs batted in.

Willie Eyre held the lead with two hitless innings, walking zero and fanning two.

Hard-throwing righty Alexi Ogando finished it off with two shutout frames of his own. He struck out one without giving out a walk.

The normally light-hitting Missions hung double-digit runs on the RoughRiders for the second consecutive night.

Starter Richard Bleier failed to make it out of the first inning, as he surrendered six runs while recording only two outs. He gave up three hits [including two home runs] while walking three.

Long reliever Ben Snyder was also hit a bit. He gave up four runs on six hits in 4.1 frames.

Making his first Double-A start, third baseman Mitch Hilligoss was 3-for-4 with a triple, a walk, and a run batted in.

Second baseman Jake Kaase went 3-for-5 with a three-bagger.

Left fielder Matt Lawson raised his average to .307 by going 2-for-3 with his fourth home run of the season.

Relief pitchers Evan Reed, Josh Lueke, Beau Jones, and Cody Eppley all hurled one scoreless inning. Lueke and Eppley both tossed 1-2-3 frames, fanning two batters apiece.

Carlos Pimentel (3.80 ERA/.250 BAA) was saddled with his second loss of the year, as he surrendered five runs [four earned] in five innings pitched. The 20-year-old allowed six hits while walking three and fanning five.

DH Mike Bianucci (.234/.301/.386) went yard for the second time in the series, providing all of Bakersfield’s run output with his three-run homer. He also singled.

David Paisano (2/5, 2B) and Tom Mendonca (1/4, 2B) both doubled once.

First baseman John Whittleman was 0-for-2, but he walked twice for the fifth consecutive day.

Left-handed reliever Tim Murphy came off the disabled list and allowed two runs in two innings. He struck out three without walking a man.

Neil Ramirez was pitching well through 3.2 innings, and then things fell apart.

After recording the first two outs of the fourth inning, Ramirez hit a batter, uncorked a wild pitch, walked a man, hit another batter, and then allowed a double and a single.

When the dust settled, the righty yielded six runs on four hits in 3.2 innings. he walked two, hit two, and struck out five.

The Crawdads offense got nine hits in the game, but left fielder Cristian Santana’s (1/4, 2B) 17th double of the season was the only extra-base knock.

Leadoff man Leury Garcia and second baseman Travis Adair both singled twice.

Ed Koncel (1/3, 2 BB) singled and walked twice while Jared Prince (1/3, BB) and Leonel De Los Santos (1/3, BB) both singled and walked once.

Daniel Gutierrez returned to action for the first time this season, and he had a bit of a rough inning. The former Royals prospect yielded one run on two hits and two walks in his one frame.

The DSL Rangers won another one-run game on Thursday afternoon, but they fell behind early as tall lefty Victor Payano was knocked around for seven runs in 3.2 innings. He surrendered six hits [including five extra-base knocks] while walking three and striking out three.

Shortstop Luis Mendez (.241/.378/.276) helped fuel the offensive attack, as he went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base from the leadoff spot.

Centerfielder Chris Garia (2/4) and right fielder Ruben Sierra (2/5) also singled twice.

DH Edward Ceballo (1/4, 3B) and second baseman Johan Santa (1/2, 3B) both tripled. The three-bagger was Ceballo’s second.

The bullpen trio of Luis Moreno [2.1 IP], Leonel Gil [1 IP] and Jorge De Jesus [2 IP] was key in the victory, as they combined for 5.1 innings of hitless, scoreless ball.
