The Rafters won their third consecutive game on Wednesday behind a handful of excellent performances from Rangers bats.

Designated hitter Taylor Teagarden (.208/.255/.375) busted out of his long slump, going 3-for-5 with two doubles and a home run.

Leadoff hitter and centerfielder Marcus Lemon (.339/.388/.597) fell a triple short of the cycle, as he was 3-for-6 with a double and a solo home run.

First baseman Mitch Moreland (.292/.397/.462) was just 1-for-5, but he hit a two-run homer. Moreland got his third RBI on a sacrifice fly.

Backstop Doug Hogan didn't go deep, but he singled once and walked once in five plate appearances.

Brennan Garr (4.38 ERA/.244 BAA) earned his first victory in the Fall League after he worked a 1-2-3 seventh inning, getting two infield popouts and a groundout. Garr worked between 91-93 mph, and he threw a few changeups and sliders, although none of them fell into the strike zone.

In 12.1 innings, Garr has allowed six earned runs on 11 hits, walking six and fanning eight.
