Felix hit a double on Wednesday
Doug Hogan flashed his power with a pair of extra-base hits in the Fall League on Wednesday, while Jose Felix played well in his first start of the year in Mexico. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's winterball action.

The Rafters fell to seven games out of first place with yet another loss on Wednesday afternoon.
Catcher Doug Hogan continued to show off his above-average power, going 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, and two runs batted in. True to form, Hogan also struck out twice. In 38 Fall League at-bats, he has five extra-base hits [two doubles, three homers] and 16 strikeouts.
Leadoff hitter and centerfielder Marcus Lemon singled twice in five at-bats, raising his batting average to .347.
Catcher Taylor Teagarden was 0-for-5 with a pair of strikeouts. The Dallas native is off to a slow start since joining Surprise, as he is just 6-for-33 at the plate.
Reliever Brennan Garr suffered the loss after he allowed one run on two hits and two walks in 1.2 innings. Garr struck out one.
Mexican Pacific League
Catcher Jose Felix got his first start of the year, and he went 1-for-3 with a double. Felix also laid down a sacrifice bunt.
Former Rangers prospect Thomas Diamond made his second start of the season, tossing five scoreless inning while walking zero and fanning six.
Venezuelan Winter League
Aragua hurler Omar Poveda worked a scoreless inning, allowing two hits. In 8.1 innings thus far, the 22-year-old has allowed three earned runs on nine hits, walking three and striking out six.
Second baseman Renny Osuna got the start for La Guaira, and he went 1-for-4 with a triple and a base on balls. Designated hitter Max Ramirez was 0-for-5 with three strikeouts.
Left-hander Joseph Ortiz lowered his earned-run average to 3.52 with a perfect inning that included one strikeout.
Caracas righty Guillermo Moscoso earned his first victory of the season after he retired all six batters he faced, recording a pair of punchouts.
Dominican Winter League
Esteban German played left field for the Toros, and he went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts. First baseman Mauro Gomez got in as a defensive replacement, but he didn’t have a plate appearance. The same was true for Andres James, who played third base for Licey.
Omar Beltre pitched a scoreless inning, yielding one hit.
