Reliever Evan Reed tossed a scoreless seventh inning, walking two batters and allowing zero hits. His fastball came in anywhere between 90-94 mph, though it mostly sat between 91-93. He threw 22 pitches [11 strikes] in the frame.
After getting out to a slow start, Reed has tossed scoreless, hitless innings in his last two outings.
No Rangers appeared on Friday evening.
La Guaira designated hitter Max Ramirez went hitless in four at-bats, striking out twice.
Second base defensive replacement Renny Osuna singled in his only plate appearance.
