Frostad is hitting .500 in the World Cup

Emerson Frostad's three hits helped lead Team Canada to a dominant victory over the Netherlands Antilles on Friday afternoon. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

The Canadians improved to 3-2 in the second round with a 19-2 thrashing of the Netherlands Antilles in just six innings.

The day after getting a game-winning hit, DH Emerson Frostad went 3-for-4 with three runs batted in. He is now batting .500 for the tournament.

Recently traded outfielder Tim Smith singled twice in three at-bats himself, and he is also hitting an even .500 in the World Cup.

Team USA's game against Australia was washed out.

The Indians played much better late in the season, but they still failed to qualify for the Northwest League playoffs.

The AZL Rangers failed to quality for the Arizona League playoffs.

DSL: DSL Rangers1 - SEASON OVER
18-45, 29.5 GB

The DSL Rangers1 failed to qualify for the Dominican Summer League playoffs.

DSL: DSL Rangers2 - SEASON OVER
47-15, 9.0 GU

After winning the division, the DSL Rangers2 got a bye in the first round of the playoffs, but they were swept in the best-of-three Dominican Summer League semifinal series.
