All four of the Rangers' full-season clubs took home victories on Saturday evening, highlighted by some solid offense in Frisco and Bakersfield. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

AAA: Oklahoma City 4 - Salt Lake 3

Starter Guillermo Moscoso had a bout with wildness, as he tossed a wild pitch and walked four batters in 5.2 innings. Still, he allowed just three runs on four hits, striking out six.

Designated hitter Royce Huffman (2/4, 2B) and left fielder Casey Benjamin (1/3) both had two runs batted in.

Greg Golson (1/3, BB) and Justin Smoak (1/3, BB) singled and walked.

Chris Davis went hitless in three official at-bats, but he drew one walk. Davis now has 11 free passes in his last eight contests.

Brian Gordon (1.1 IP), Willie Eyre (1 IP) and Warner Madrigal (1 IP) all worked scoreless relief.

Blake Beavan was knocked around for six runs—five earned—on 10 hits in just five innings on Saturday. He walked one and struck out two.

Third baseman John Whittleman broke out of an extended slump by going 3-for-3 with a double and two walks.

Chad Tracy (2/5, 2B, BB), Manny Pina (2/4, 2B, BB), Steve Murphy (1/5, 2B) and Marcus Lemon (1/4, 2B) also doubled.

Craig Gentry (2/5), Dustin Majewski (2/5, BB) and Guilder Rodriguez (2/5) all singled twice.

All nine hitters in the Frisco lineup had at least one hit on Saturday. Seven of them reached base at least two times.

The bullpen combination of Corey Young (2 IP), Zach Phillips (1 IP) and Clayton Hamilton (1 IP) helped Frisco earn the victory.

Former RoughRider John Bannister made his first appearance as a member of the Royals’ organization on Saturday. He gave up two runs on two hits and a walk in an inning.

The Blaze continued to play longball in Lancaster, socking three home runs in the first three innings.

Leadoff man David Paisano (.313/.375/.475) was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a home run. He also walked.

Mauro Gomez (2/5, 2B, HR) and Mike Bianucci (1/5, HR) also went yard.

Starter Tim Murphy worked 6.1 innings, giving up three runs on five hits. He walked two while striking out six.

Joey Butler (2/5, 2B), Tim Rodriguez (1/4, 2B), Matt Lawson (1/4, 2B) and Jose Felix (1/4, 2B) all doubled.

Eight of the nine Bakersfield players had hits. Seven of them had extra-base hits.

Glenn Swanson (0.2 IP) and Justin Miller (2 IP) kept the JetHawks off the board late in the game.

Wilfredo Boscan tossed a quality start on Saturday, giving up two runs on five hits over six innings of work.

Catcher Doug Hogan was 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, and his 16th home run o the season.

Eric Fry (1/2, HR, 2 BB) hit his fourth homer with Hickory.

Matt West (3/5, 2B), Cristian Santana (2/5, 2B) and Leury Garcia (2/4, 2B, BB) all doubled. Garcia stole his 16th base of the season.

Trevor Hurley (1.06 ERA/.167 BAA in three August starts) continued to produce solid innings for the Indians on Saturday, as he yielded two runs in five innings of work.

Second baseman Danny Lima was 2-for-4 with a walk and his sixth double of the season.

Miguel Velazquez (1/4, 2B) doubled and drove home a pair of runs.

Jared Prince and Zach Zaneski both singled twice in four trips.

Leadoff man Joe Bonadonna singled once, walked twice, and swiped three bases, giving him 12 on the year.

Relievers Kyle Ocampo and Andrew Doyle finished off the game with two scoreless innings apiece.

Starter Edwin Escobar pitched scoreless ball through three innings, but he ended up allowing five runs (four earned) in the fourth.

Third baseman Emmanuel Solis was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in the second inning.

Catcher Tomas Telis was 2-for-4 with his 10th double.

Right-hander Brock Piper struck out the side in the top of the ninth inning, allowing zero hits.

Reliever Melvin Bryan was the most effective pitcher of the day for the DSL Rangers1, pitching two hitless innings.

Second baseman Johan Santa was 1-for-3 with a pair of runs batted in.

Leadoff hitter Junior Payano walked three times in five plate appearances.
