Wilfredo Boscan pitched five scoreless innings for the Hickory Crawdads on Friday night while the Oklahoma City RedHawks got yet another great pitching performance. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

Elizardo Ramirez struck out eight batters in six innings, allowing just one run on four hits. He walked one.

The runs batted in came from Esteban German (1/4, 3B) and Joaquin Arias (2/3, BB).

Left fielder Steve Murphy was 2-for-2 with a walk.

Relievers Orlando Hernandez, A.J. Murray, and Clayton Hamilton all threw scoreless innings to preserve the one-run victory.

Blake Beavan struggled in his third Double-A start, giving up nine runs—six earned—in 4.1 innings. He surrendered eight hits while walking two and striking out two.

Pitching in his first Double-A game, Zach Phillips allowed just an unearned run in 4.2 frames. He scattered five hits (four singles), walked three, and fanned two.

Right fielder Mitch Moreland (1/2, 3B, BB) tripled while Manny Pina (1/4, 2B) hit his eighth double.

?Chad Tracy singled twice in four at-bats.

Ryan Tatusko (1.90 ERA/.212 BAA in June) pitched surrendered three runs on five hits in 6.2 innings, walking one and striking out four.

Through six innings, Tatusko had given up only one run, but he ran out of gas in the seventh. In that frame, the right-hander permitted two doubles, a wild pitch, and a walk.

Centerfielder Engel Beltre (.225/.272/.317) was 2-for-4 with his fourth triple.

Davis Stoneburner had a double and the team’s lone RBI.

Glenn Swanson finished it off with 1.1 scoreless innings, striking out two.

Wilfredo Boscan lowered his ERA back to 2.00 after he gave up just four hits in five scoreless innings. He fanned two without issuing a walk.

Wilmer Font followed by yielding two runs in three innings. He fanned five.

First baseman Erik Morrison was 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, and two walks.

Leury Garcia (2/5, 3B) singled and tripled while Leonel De Los Santos (2/5) singled twice in five at-bats.

Mark Hamburger had four strikeouts in two scoreless innings.

Matt Thompson’s second Northwest League start was a little rougher than the first. The Metroplex native allowed four runs on seven hits in three innings, walking one and striking out three.

Hard-throwing righty Justin King punched out five in three shutout innings.

Cody Podraza (1/4, 2B), Clark Murphy (2/4, 2B) and Emmanuel Solis (1/4, 2B) all doubled.

Right fielder Santo De Jesus recorded an outfield assist at home plate.

Justin Jamison (1 IP), Ovispo De Los Santos (2 IP) and Justin Miller (1 IP) closed out the victory with scoreless, hitless ball.
