The Frisco RoughRiders' offense appears to be breaking out of its slump, as they scored 15 runs on Tuesday night. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

AAA: Oklahoma City 2 - Iowa 6
L - Feliz (3-5)


Neftali Feliz went 6.1 innings on Tuesday, giving up four runs on eight hits. He struck out three without issuing a walk.

Feliz pitched a little better than his final line indicated. Through five innings, he had surrendered no runs on two hits, walking none and striking out three.

Shortstop Joaquin Arias singled three times in five at-bats. He had one RBI.

Julio Borbon (2/4, BB) raised his average over .300 with two singles and a walk. He also stole his 18th base.

Reliever John Bannister tossed 1.2 hitless and scoreless innings, walking one.

Starting pitcher Mike Ballard got things straightened out on Tuesday, as he surrendered just two runs on seven hits in six innings, walking one and striking out three.

The Frisco bats continued to enjoy Midland, as they pushed across 15 runs on 17 hits in the game.

Craig Gentry (1/5, 2B) and Chad Tracy (2/5, 2B, BB) had the only extra-base hits.

Catcher Chris Gradoville singled four times in five at-bats, driving in three runs.

Renny Osuna (2/5) also had three RBIs.

Mitch Moreland (2/5, BB), Tim Smith (2/4, 2 BB), Adam Fox (1/3, 3 BB), John Whittleman (1/4, 2 BB) and Marcus Lemon (2/5) all reached multiple times.

The RoughRiders offense drew nine walks in the contest.

The Blaze didn’t have many bright spots on Tuesday night.

Starting pitcher Kennil Gomez gave up five runs—four earned—on eight hits in five innings. He walked four and struck out four.

At the plate, DH Eric Fry (2/4, 2B, 3B) doubled and tripled. He had both of the team’s extra-base hits.

Adalberto Flores struck out the side in a scoreless eighth inning.

Jake Brigham got the loss after he allowed three runs in four innings, walking none and striking out five.

Martin Perez followed with a brilliant outing, as he fanned six batters in two scoreless innings. The southpaw surrendered one hit and walked two.

Jake Kaase (2/4, 2B), Michael Hollander (1/3, 2B) and Jared Bolden (2/3, 2B) all doubled.

Left fielder Cristian Santana struck out in all four of his plate appearances. The talented slugger has fallen into another one of those slumps. He’s struck out 11 times in his last 14 at-bats.

First baseman Jhonny Gomez led the way offensively by going 2-for-4 with a double, two walks, and three runs batted in. Gomez has walked 13 times in 13 games this season.

DH Alison Perez (3/5, 2B, BB) also doubled and walked.

Shortstop Oduber Herrera was 1-for-2 with four free passes and two stolen bases, bringing him to six on the year.

Left-hander Luis Parra gave up one run on three hits in three innings. He punched out four without issuing a free pass.

Closer Miguel De Los Santos (0.96 ERA/.032 BAA) struck out two in a scoreless inning.

His pitching line deserves its own paragraph: 9.1 IP, 1 H, 5 BB, 24 K.
