Bleier pitched seven strong innings

Tommy Hunter turned in a strong start, as he allowed two runs on seven hits in seven innings, walking one and striking out six. Hunter allowed both his runs on a pair of solo homers.

First baseman Royce Huffman was 2-for-3 with a home run, a walk, and two runs batted in.

Left fielder Casey Benjamin provided a solo home run.

Greg Golson (1/4, 2B) hit his sixth double.

Frisco starting pitcher Michael Kirkman yielded four runs on seven hits (six singles) over six innings. He walked one and struck out five.

The RoughRiders offense managed just four singles in the game. They came from Craig Gentry (1/4), Marcus Lemon (1/4), Tim Smith (1/3) and Renny Osuna (1/3).

Right fielder Aja Barto went 1-for-3 with a walk and his first round-tripper of the season.

Jose Felix (1/4, 3B) tripled while Davis Stoneburner (3/5, 2B) had two singles and a double.

Left fielder Jonathan Greene singled twice in four at-bats.

Relief pitchers Ryan Falcon and Evan Reed tossed one scoreless inning apiece to finish out the victory.

Carlos Pimentel (2.97 ERA/.268 BAA) got a tough-luck loss on Friday, as he allowed just one run on six hits in five innings. He fanned two without walking a batter.

Neil Ramirez's second Low-A outing was much better than his first. He tossed 2.2 scoreless frames, giving up two hits and walking one. Ramirez fanned two.

Hickory had just four hits on the day.

Erik Morrison (1/4, 2B) and Matt West (1/4, 2B) both doubled while Leonel De Los Santos (1/3) and Leury Garcia (1/3) singled.

Denny Peralta turned in a solid effort for the DSL Rangers1, giving up two runs in six innings.

Leadoff hitter Miguel Montes De Oca was 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, and his fourth stolen base of the season.

DH Jose Mateo singled twice.

Luis Simeoli (2 IP) and Tim Stanford (1 IP) combined for three shtuout frames.

Oduber Herrera (2/4) and Alison Perez (1/4) combined for the Rangers' three hits.
