Nam has been virtually unhittable

Hickory pitcher Yoon-Hee Nam pitched six more scoreless innings on Thursday evening, lowering his ERA to 0.79. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

The RedHawks plated four runs on a Nate Gold grand slam in the top of the third inning.

In the bottom of that frame, starter Josh Rupe gave up seven runs on eight hits and one walk.

In all, Rupe pitched three total innings, giving up seven runs on nine hits, walking two and striking out one.

Mike Hinckley did an excellent job in long relief, as he permitted just one hit in three scoreless innings.

Esteban German (1/3, 2B, 2 BB) and Greg Golson (2/3, 2B, BB) both doubled.

Second baseman Jose Vallejo went 0-for-2 before leaving the game with an injury in the fourth inning.

Julio Borbon singled once and walked once.

Kasey Kiker gave up just one run in 3.2 innings, but he threw 90 pitches, giving up seven hits, walking two, and striking out five.

Leadoff man Craig Gentry (1/3, 3B) hit his third triple of the year while Justin Smoak (1/3, 2B, BB) had his ninth double.

Righty Andrew Laughter earned his third win with two scoreless innings. He didn't record a strikeout, but got all six of his outs on the ground.

Jose Diaz finished it off by fanning one in a clean ninth inning.

Michael Main struggled with control and the long ball, giving up five walks and three home runs in four innings. He allowed five total hits and five earned runs.

Third baseman Jonathan Greene was 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, and three RBIs.

Elio Sarmiento (3/4, 2 2B) doubled twice while Ian Gac (1/2, 2B, 2 BB) and Engel Beltre (1/4, 2B, BB) doubled once.

The bullpen was outstanding, getting two scoreless innings apiece from Zach Phillips, Corey Young and Evan Reed.

?Tanner Roark fanned two in a perfect top of the 11th to earn his first victory of the season.

At this point, it just feels like Yoon-Hee Nam is playing a game.

The southpaw lowered his ERA to 0.79 on Thursday after tossing six scoreless innings. He gave up three singles and struck out three without walking a hitter.

Nam has allowed just eight hits in 25.0 May innings. He has struck out 26 and walked just five over that span.

Mike Bianucci (2/3, 3B, HR, BB) and Jake Kaase (1/5, HR) both hit solo home runs.

Third baseman Matt West was 1-for-4 with his ninth double.

Shortstop Leury Garcia singled once in four at-bats. The young switch-hitter has hit safely in each of his eight games this season.

Matt Nevarez got the loss after giving up a rare hit. He allowed one run on two hits in one-third of an inning.
