L - Poveda (4-3)
Omar Poveda allowed five runs on nine hits over 6.1 innings, walking none and striking out three.
Thomas Diamond had a strong outing, striking out three and allowing no runs or hits in 1.2 innings.
Leadoff hitter Craig Gentry (1/4, 2B) had Frisco's only extra-base hit of the day.

HR - Butler (4), Beltre (2), Podraza (1)
Kennil Gomez had a bit of a rough outing, as he allowed four runs on eight hits in five innings. He did strike out eight batters without issuing a base on balls.
Gomez was picked up by his bullpen and offense in a big way.
Centerfielder Engel Beltre was 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk.
Joey Butler (1/4, HR) and Cody Podraza (1/3, HR) also chipped in with solo round-trippers.
Catcher Elio Sarmiento was 2-for-4 with his second double of the season.
Left-handed reliever Zach Phillips struck out four in three perfect innings.
Josh Lueke fanned one in a perfect inning.
The bullpen combined to retire all five batters they faced, striking out five.
L - Brigham (1-2)
Martin Perez (2.70 ERA/.209 BAA) yielded two runs—one earned—in five innings pitched. He scattered six hits while walking two and striking out five.
Right-hander Jake Brigham appears to be in a slump. He surrendered three runs in three innings, giving up four hits and walking three.
Michael Hollander (2/4, 2B), Mike Bianucci (1/3, 2B, BB) and Doug Hogan (1/3, 2B, BB) all doubled.
Left fielder Tim Rodriguez singled twice in four at-bats.
