The Frisco RoughRiders got off to a fast start on Wednesday, scoring eight runs in the first inning. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

AAA: Oklahoma City 3 - Albuquerque 9
L - Ballard (1-2)

Starting pitcher Mike Ballard gave up three home runs in five innings, leading to six runs. He struck out one without issuing a walk.

The RedHawks didn’t have any extra-base hits. First baseman Royce Huffman (2/4) was the lone player with multiple hits.

Esteban German (1/3, BB) and Jose Vallejo (1/3, BB) both singled and walked.

Frisco put Wednesday’s game away in a hurry by scoring eight first-inning runs.

Centerfielder Craig Gentry went 2-for-5 in the game with a three-run homer in the first inning.

Right fielder Steve Murphy was 2-for-4 with a double and a home run.

Chris Gradoville (1/4, 2B) also doubled.

Starting pitcher Guillermo Moscoso surrendered three runs -- one earned -- on seven hits in five innings. Moscoso struck out seven without issuing a walk.

First baseman Chad Tracy brought his average to .260 with three singles in four at-bats.

Coming off his most promising start of the season, Michael Main’s struggles continued on Wednesday night.

The former first round pick allowed five runs -- four earned -- on nine hits in five innings, walking one and striking out two.

First baseman Mitch Moreland (1/3, HR, BB) belted his sixth home run of the season.

Joey Butler (2/4, 2B) and Renny Osuna (1/3, 2B, BB) both doubled.

Left fielder Tim Smith singled three times in four at-bats, giving him a .384 batting average.

Evan Reed fanned three in a perfect ninth inning.
