Catcher Manny Pina’s average continued to climb, as he went 2-for-4 with his second double of the year. Pina is now batting .487 on the year.

John Whittleman (1/3, 2B, BB) also doubled.

First baseman Justin Smoak singled twice in five at-bats, bringing his average to .293.

Left-hander Joseph Torres pitched in his first game of the season and coughed up two runs in two-thirds of an inning. He allowed three hits and walked one batter.

Andrew Laughter finished it out by retiring all four hitters he faced.

First baseman Mitch Moreland (.313/.365/.552 in 67 at-bats) was 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, and two runs batted in. The Mississippi State product has ten extra-base hits in 67 at-bats.

Renny Osuna was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. After an extremely slow start, the shortstop has compiled a seven-game hitting streak.

Stockton broke the game wide open with an eight-run sixth inning, mostly coming off reliever Ryan Tatusko. Tatusko surrendered seven earned runs on five hits and two walks in two-thirds of an inning.
