Centerfielder Julio Borbon (.267/.411/.333 in 45 at-bats) had another excellent game on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with a walk. He also stole his fourth base and gunned down a runner at home.

Andrew Laughter (2.00 ERA/.225 BAA in 9 IP) fanned one batter in a scoreless eighth inning.

Mexican Pacific League


Centerfielder Brandon Boggs played in his first game for Obregon, going 1-for-2 with a walk and a run batted in. He also had a sacrifice fly and a stolen base.

Venezuelan Winter League


La Guaira DH Ben Harrison singled once and struck out three times in his four at-bats.

Dominican Winter League


Dustin Nippert turned in a strong start for Licey, yielding two runs on four hits in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out seven while walking just one.
