Three pitching prospects took the hill down on the farm on Tuesday night and all three produced outstanding results. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

AAA: Oklahoma 9 – Fresno 6

Second baseman Joaquin Arias (.322/.350/.400) notched his third multi-hit effort in his last four games by going 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, and three runs batted in.

Taylor Teagarden (1/2, 2B, 2 BB) and Jason Botts (1/5, 2B) each doubled in the game.

Third baseman Ryan Roberts (2/3, BB) and shortstop Drew Meyer (2/3) singled twice.

Starting pitcher Dustin Nippert made his third rehab appearance and allowed five runs on 11 hits in six innings. He struck out five without walking a batter.

Kea Kometani (4.76 ERA/.262 BAA) pitched a hitless inning, walking one and striking out one.

Closer Warner Madrigal allowed an unearned run in his one inning of work.

Matt Harrison (3.95 ERA/.281 BAA) turned in his second strong effort in as many starts since returning from the disabled list. The left-hander allowed only one run in 5 2/3 innings. He gave up five hits, walked one, and struck out five. After being on a pitch count of 75 in his last outing, Harrison threw 92 pitches on Tuesday night.

Right fielder Ben Harrison (.324/.422/.581) – no relation – went 2-for-3 with a home run and a walk. It was his fifth home run in 74 at-bats this season.

Max Ramirez (1/4, 2B) and Thomas Berkery (1/2, 3B, BB) had the team’s other extra-base knocks.

Dustin Majewski and Corey Ragsdale each went 1-for-3 with a base on balls.

Reliever Brennan Garr surrendered just one base hit in 1 1/3 scoreless innings. He struck out one.

Round Rock native Brian Gordon fanned one in a perfect eighth inning.

With yet another victory, Bakersfield improved to 9-3 in the month of May.

Kasey Kiker had undoubtedly his best outing of the season, as he yielded two runs on two hits – both solo home runs – in seven innings. The southpaw walked one and struck out three.

DH Grant Gerrard (.294/.349/.485) helped give the Blaze their first lead of the game with a grand slam in the bottom of the fifth inning. Gerrard, who also walked, drove in five total runs.

Shortstop Marcus Lemon (.304/.427/.468) went 2-for-2 with a home run and two walks.

John Whittleman and K.C. Herren each singled twice in four at-bats.

Leadoff hitter Julio Borbon was 0-for-3 with a walk, but he stole three bases in three attempts, giving him 15 for the year.

Catcher Manny Pina (0/3, BB) returned to the lineup after taking a few days off.

Neftali Feliz posted his fourth consecutive start without allowing an earned run on Tuesday night. The hurler went five innings, giving up two hits, walking one and striking out four. Over his last four appearances, Feliz has surrendered 12 hits in 20.1 innings.

Mitch Moreland was Clinton’s hero offensively with a double, a home run, and three runs batted in.

Renny Osuna (3/5, 2B) and Engel Beltre (1/5, 3B) also had extra-base hits.
