Bakersfield shortstop Marcus Lemon appears to be having little trouble adjusting to the California League. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of Sunday's action in the minor leagues.

Arias has been playing second base.
Second baseman Joaquin Arias (.304/.314/.362) led the way on yet another big day for the OKC offense. He was 4-for-5 with a triple, two runs batted in, and a stolen base.

Jason Ellison (1/5) also tripled. He drove in three runs and walked once.

Drew Meyer (3/4, 2B, 2 BB) and Nelson Cruz (2/3, 3 BB) both reached base in five of their six plate appearances on the day.

First baseman Chris Shelton raised his batting average to .354 by going 2-for-5 with a double and a free pass.

Starting pitcher Elizardo Ramirez allowed four runs in six innings. He struck out six.

Making his second Triple-A stint of the season, Kazuo Fukumori tossed a perfect 15-pitch inning with two strikeouts.

With two outs in the top of the fifth inning, starting pitcher Michael Schlact had faced just two over the minimum. The right-hander then gave up four hits and a walk without recording an out. He would go on to throw a scoreless sixth inning. In total, Schlact allowed five runs [all in the fifth] on seven hits in six innings. He walked one and struck out three.

Is Murphy ready for Triple-A?
DH Steve Murphy (.347/.386/.547) led the offensive charge with a pair of doubles in five at-bats. One of the hits came against a left-handed pitcher. Murphy, a left-handed hitter, is 7-for-11 with two doubles and a triple against southpaws this season.

John Mayberry was 1-for-4 with the team's only home run of the game.

Elvis Andrus (2/5, 3B), Emerson Frostad (2/5, 2B) and Dustin Majewski (2/3, BB) also had multiple hits.

Playing in his first game at the Double-A level, catcher Hunter Harrigan struck out in all three of his at-bats.

Alfredo Gonzalez tossed two scoreless innings despite allowing two hits and two walks. His ERA dropped to 0.75.

Falcon has helped anchor a strong Bakersfield bullpen.
Marcus Lemon's (.333/.463/.424) relatively slow start has quickly been erased by three consecutive multi-hit games. The shortstop was 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, and a stolen base on Saturday. He has seven walks in 10 games this season.

Right fielder Grant Gerrard, who was 1-for-4 with a double and a base on balls, had Bakersfield's lone extra-base hit.

Starter Jared Hyatt surrendered two runs in six innings of work. He allowed five hits while walking two and striking out four.

John Whittleman walked three times in four plate appearances.

Left-hander Ryan Falcon (1.72 ERA/.174 BAA) allowed just one baserunner – a bunt single – in three innings of work. He faced the minimum and struck out three.

Clinton avoided both the shutout and the loss with a two-run bottom of the ninth inning.

Greene had three hits.
Ryan Tatusko (1.80 ERA/.082 BAA) had a typical start on Saturday, as he gave up one run on two hits in five innings. The right-hander, who has issued 12 walks in 15 innings on the season, walked three and struck out one.

Third baseman Jonathan Greene broke out of a prolonged slump with three hits, including a double, in four at-bats.

Right fielder Mitch Moreland singled twice in four trips.

Catcher Carlos Dominguez singled home the game's winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning. It was his only hit of the afternoon.

Pitchers Dan Sattler and Adalberto Flores each tossed two scoreless innings. Flores picked up his second victory of the season.
