Boggs reached base three times.
A.J. Murray had a strong effort on Saturday night, as he gave up two runs in five innings. The lefty did throw quite a few pitches [95], but he only allowed four hits. Murray walked two and struck out three.

First baseman Nate Gold (.264/.365/.556) hit the team’s only home run of the game. It was his fourth of the season.

Nelson Cruz saw his on-base percentage rise to a gaudy .525 with a hit and two more walks. He has 15 walks in 13 games this season. Cruz also stole his fifth base.

LF Brandon Boggs singled, doubled, and walked in the game. Though he has generally had trouble against right-handed pitchers in his career, the switch-hitting Boggs is currently boasting a .385/.457/.590 line against them in 39 at-bats this season.

Chris Shelton singled twice, walked, and drove in three runs.
