Young Cristian Santana continued to be one of the most impressive hitters in the organization on Sunday, as he reached base in all four plate appearances. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's minor league action.

A scuffling Eric Hurley needed 114 pitches to complete 4.2 innings on Sunday afternoon. He gave up 10 hits, six runs – four earned – while walking two and striking out six.

Richardson hit 14 home runs in 2007.
The RedHawks offense was able to tag Albuquerque starter Eulogio De La Cruz for six runs in two innings.

Leading the offensive charge was left fielder Brandon Boggs, who was 3-for-5 with his third triple of the season.

DH Joaquin Arias raised his batting average to .310 with three singles – and three RBI – in five at-bats. Ryan Roberts (2/4, 2B, BB) also had three runs batted in.

Nelson Cruz went 1-for-3 with a double and two walks.

Catcher Kevin Richardson hit his first home run at the Triple-A level. It was his only hit of the day.

Kea Kometani earned the win after surrendering one run on two hits in two innings. Frank Francisco picked up the save with a scoreless ninth. Both pitchers struck out two.

Ragsdale is 4-for-8 on the homestand.
Trey Hodges struck out nine batters in five innings, but he surrendered four runs on seven hits, two hit batters, and two walks. The righty saw his record drop to 1-1 on the year.

Reliever Kendy Batista helped keep Frisco in the game with three scoreless innings. The native of Venezuela gave up two hits and struck out two.

Red-hot infielder Corey Ragsdale continued to hit well, as he was 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.

Craig Gentry (1/4, HBP), Elvis Andrus (1/4, BB), Max Ramirez (2/5), and Dustin Majewski (0/2, 2 BB) also reached base multiple times.

Chris Davis made an appearance as a pinch-hitter, returning from a sore forearm. Davis walked in his lone at-bat.

The streaky Blaze dropped their third consecutive game on Sunday.

Starting pitcher Tommy Hunter allowed six runs on 10 hits in only four innings, walking one and fanning three.

Second baseman Jose Vallejo extended his hitting streak to nine games with a 2-for-4 performance.

Left fielder K.C. Herren is off to a slow start, but he reached base on a single and a hit by pitch while also throwing a runner out at second base.

Andrew Laughter didn’t allow a run in 1.2 innings despite giving up four hits.

Gomez earned his first win of the year.
Kennil Gomez was outstanding in just his third professional start on Sunday, as he gave up only one unearned run in six innings. The right-hander scattered four hits, did not issue a walk, and struck out four.

First baseman Ian Gac launched his league-leading fifth home run of the season in the bottom of the first. He also singled and walked in the contest.

DH Cristian Santana raised his average to .417 with two singles, a walk, and a HBP.

Left fielder Tim Smith singled three times in four at-bats.

Engel Beltre was 1-for-4 with a double.
