Though Frisco's bullpen was unable to hold a lead on Wednesday evening, there were a number of outstanding offensive performances. Lone Star Dugout takes a look at all of the day's action in the minor leagues.

AAA: Oklahoma – OFF


Coming off a four-game sweep against Colorado Springs, the RedHawks (27-31) welcome the Round Rock Express on Thursday evening.

AA: Frisco 9 – San Antonio 11
L – Ingram (1-1)
HR – Manriquez (9)


After allowing three home runs in 4 1/3 innings in his last start, right-hander Armando Galarraga surrendered three more long balls in just four innings on Wednesday. The pitcher allowed four runs on six hits, walking two and fanning six.

Every Frisco hitter except left fielder Ben Harrison had a hit in the game.

Shortstop Casey Benjamin (.285/.370/.420) was 2-for-4 with a double and two walks.

Second baseman German Duran (.321/.381/.565) went 4-for-5 with a double and a base on balls in six plate appearances.

Centerfielder Brandon Boggs tripled and walked twice while Steve Murphy and Adam Fox were each 3-for-5 with a double.

Designated hitter Salomon Manriquez hit a home run, his ninth of the season.

Kea Kometani (4.62 ERA/.274 BAA) fanned two in a hitless inning.

Closer Jesse Ingram saw his ERA shoot up, as he coughed up four runs on four walks in two-thirds of an inning.

Lefty Danny Herrera was charged with the blown save when he allowed a game-winning three-run homer to Chase Headley in the top of the ninth inning. Herrera gave up two runs in one-third of an inning.

Right fielder John Mayberry and DH Taylor Teagarden each doubled for the team’s only extra base hits. Both went 1-for-4.

Left fielder Thomas Berkery and centerfielder Jon Weber singled twice in four at-bats.

Starter Bear Bay allowed four runs on seven hits in four innings. He walked two and struck out four.
