The RedHawks received a much needed day off on Wednesday. MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan reports that pitchers Danny Ray Herrera and Randy Williams will join the team in Oklahoma City. This means that Michael Wagner and Danny Touchet – both of whom pitched for the RedHawks on Tuesday – will likely be sent back to extended spring training. There is a chance that Touchet takes Williams' spot on the Frisco roster.
Starter Armando Galarraga had given up one run in four innings. He was lifted after the game's first rain delay and Matt Farnum tossed a scoreless fifth, fanning the side. The game will be resumed on a date to be determined at a later time.
L – Bay (3-3)

Taylor Teagarden hit his sixth home run of the season and his fourth in five games on Wednesday. It was his only hit of the game.
Bakersfield starter Bear Bay allowed seven runs on five hits in just three innings. He walked four and struck out one.
Making his first appearance of the season, Rice product Craig Crow surrendered four runs on four hits and three walks in three innings.
Third baseman Chris Davis (1/3) and centerfielder Truan Mehl (2/4) each doubled.
Left-handed pitcher Glenn Swanson, who has been called up to High-A Bakersfield but has yet to be activated, will start for the club on Saturday in Stockton.
The division-leading LumberKings enjoyed a scheduled day off on Wednesday. They return home to face the 28-8 and league-leading Dayton Dragons on Thursday evening.
