Prospect Video: Tepesch, Reyes No-Hitter

WILMINGTON, Del. – Earlier this season, Texas Rangers prospects Nick Tepesch and Jimmy Reyes combined for the Myrtle Beach Pelicans' first nine-inning no-hitter in franchise history. Tepesch was promoted to Double-A Frisco and will start on Friday. Lone Star Dugout has video from two of Tepesch's innings and the final frame.

Myrtle Beach starting pitcher Nick Tepesch and reliever Jimmy Reyes combined to post the Pelicans' first nine-inning no-hitter in franchise history on Saturday evening.

Tepesch worked the first 7.1 innings of hitless, scoreless ball, throwing 115 pitches. He walked four and struck out a season-high nine batters.

The following video is from the fourth and sixth innings of Saturday's game. The University of Missouri product worked around a walk in the fourth––getting two strikeouts––and he fanned one in a 1-2-3 sixth inning.
