Yangervis Solarte got the start at second base for the Tigres de Aragua and went 0-for-3 with a strikeout, as his team was limited to just a single run on four hits. Solarte is now batting .294 with six walks and three strikeouts in 17 winterball games.

Aragua's Luis Hernandez, who was also recently signed to a minor league deal by the Rangers, was 0-for-1 with two walks. He also committed two errors at shortstop.

Julio Borbon (.156/.257/.281) got his second start in as many days, batting leadoff for Escogido and playing in left field. He had a single and an RBI in three at-bats before exiting for a pinch hitter in the sixth inning. He was also caught stealing for the first time this winterball season.

After going without a hit in his previous nine contests, Borbon has now hit safely in each of his last three games.

Although left-handed reliever Corey Young signed with the Leones del Escogido and is listed on the roster, he has yet to appear in a game with the club.
